RED TIC searches for one of its clients a profile SENIOR UX DESIGNER

Mission:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven track record of building and leading design teams in a multi-disciplinary environment
• Ability to “sell” clients on the Garage Method and approach
• Proven track record of delightful and innovative designs
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and prototyping skills
• Ability to conceptualize quickly and present in-progress work for critique
• Understanding of good design processes, especially Design Thinking and Lean UX
• Ability to work with the business and business partners to drive the Garage’s design approach on projects
• Facilitation skills to lead innovation workshops with clients
• Demonstrate an understanding of agile development practices and have experience working with developers
• An understanding of interface and user experience design best practices for web and mobility devices

Responsibilities:

• Provide support during discussions with prospective clients, help assess design needs for projects, with senior designer, help to scope and craft design portion of proposals.
• Attention to design detail and the understanding of when and how to apply it
• Assist in pulling together retrospective presentations to document for the client the value-add of Design Thinking to their specific project.
• Demonstrated ability to produce quick, low-fidelity sketches and sleek, high fidelity visuals on tight schedules with a ton of initiative
• Collaborate and continually engage with other designers, developers and architects to iteratively design experiences that delight customers while improving the bottom line

This position could include some amount of international travel, depending on the candidate’s interest in that aspect

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 5 years experience (7+ nice to have) in proven track record of delightful and innovative designs
• At least 5 years experience (7+ nice to have) in user experience design
• At least 5 years experience (7+ nice to have) in demonstrated skills developing personas, writing scenarios, shaping conceptual product direction, wireframing and storytelling
• Knowledge of relevant design and interaction tools including Sketch, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite, Axure
• Readiness to travel 50% travel annually
• English: Fluent
• Arabic: Fluent

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• At least 2 years experience in LeanUX and working with multi-disciplinary teams of design, development, and product management
• At least 2 years experience in project management capabilities
