MISSION :

Job Description:
As an IT Application Owner, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of critical IT applications. You will ensure that these applications meet business requirements, are reliable, and perform optimally. You will also serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding application-related issues and improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of IT applications, from conception to retirement.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and translate their needs into technical requirements.
• Ensure applications are developed, tested, and deployed in accordance with best practices and organizational standards.
• Monitor application performance and implement improvements to enhance functionality and user experience.
• Manage application updates, patches, and upgrades to maintain security and performance.
• Coordinate with IT and development teams to resolve issues and implement new features.
• Provide training and support to end-users to maximize application utilization.
• Maintain documentation related to application architecture, configurations, and processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience (at least 3 years) as an IT Application Owner, Application Manager, or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of application development and lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages and development tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of best practices in IT security and compliance.
• Proficiency in English and French, both written and spoken.
