RED TIC  is looking for a passionate and experienced Geomatic Engineer specializing in GIS data processing and analysis to join our team. You will play a key role in collecting, managing, analyzing, and visualizing spatial data to support strategic projects across sectors such as environment, urban planning, transportation, and energy.

Your expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) will be essential to deliver high-quality spatial insights and support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities :

  • Collect, integrate, and validate geospatial data from various sources (satellite imagery, field surveys, open databases, etc.).

  • Process and analyze GIS data using industry-standard software (ArcGIS, QGIS, FME, etc.).

  • Develop spatial models and automate geoprocessing tasks using scripting languages (Python, R, ModelBuilder…).

  • Produce thematic maps, interactive dashboards, and analytical reports tailored to business needs.

  • Design and optimize geospatial databases and ensure data quality and integrity.

  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and security of all spatial data workflows.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on multidisciplinary projects.

  • Propose innovative GIS solutions for data visualization and dissemination (web mapping, story maps, etc.).

Required Profile :

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Geomatics, Geography, GIS Engineering, or related field.

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in GIS data processing and spatial analysis.

  • Proficiency with GIS tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, MapInfo, and scripting languages (Python, SQL, R).

  • Strong knowledge of cartography, geostatistics, and spatial modeling.

  • Experience with spatial databases (e.g., PostGIS, Oracle Spatial).

  • Ability to communicate technical results to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, autonomy, and team spirit.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with web mapping tools and platforms (Leaflet, Mapbox, OpenLayers…).

  • Familiarity with remote sensing data (satellite imagery, LIDAR, etc.).

  • Knowledge of emerging GIS trends like Smart Cities, 3D GIS, or Digital Twins.
